Environmental management for the automotive industry

REACH concerns us all!
(Meldung vom 12. July 2007)

Be it mechanical engineering or plant construction, the plastics or the pharmaceutical industry, virtually all manufacturing companies are affected by the reform of chemi-cals law, which came into effect throughout Europe on 1 July 2007.
Even service providers who use affected products have substantial duties according to the new European Regulation 1907/2006/EC. Because the abbreviation REACH stands for "Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals". The core statement is: no more substances may be put on the market and used without regis-tration.

REACH applies if an enterprise uses more than one tonne of chemicals per year, or if chemical substances are produced, processed, formulated, consumed, stored, kept, treated, filled into containers, transferred from one container to another or mixed. Equally affected are companies that manufacture products which themselves release chemical substances - such as printers that release ink, or carpeting and felt-tip pens that give off solvents.

Each and every company must therefore thoroughly examine the extent to which it is affected. Partslife has the right solution on hand for this "challenge", too. By providing consulting services, Partslife can help you define your personal requirements and subsequently devise a practical solution.
